Clive and Daniel Lubner knew they needed someone special for their new Sarasota store, and they found him in Rick Clary: the consummate professional, long-time associate, and dear friend. With 40 years of experience in furnishings, including 26 years working with Clive at the Robb & Stucky store, Rick was the clear choice for General Manager of the new Clive Daniel Home showroom. Leading a 60-person team in a state-of-the-art, two-story showroom, Rick is ready to introduce Sarasota to the Clive Daniel Home style. As a committed corporate citizen, he plans to get involved with local organizations and give back to the growing community.
With a degree in Marketing Management from Illinois Central College and a certificate in business management from Bradley University, Rick got his start in the furnishings industry making deliveries for a family-owned furniture store in Peoria. But the allure of Sarasota brought him and his wife Christine to Florida in 1980, where they raised their family and immersed themselves in the world of design and furnishings.
Rick’s decades of experience have given him a deep understanding of sales, marketing, and merchandising, and he’s passionate about providing clients with exceptional customer service. His approachable personality and leadership skills have earned him the respect and admiration of his staff, who he inspires with his contagious enthusiasm. With Rick at the helm, the new Clive Daniel Home showroom is sure to be a success, and the Sarasota community is lucky to have him.
