Meet Brittany Lamont, the high-powered President/CEO of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance. This dynamic organization boasts a membership of 600+ businesses, all focused on driving growth and prosperity in the Manatee and Sarasota region. But how did Brittany get here? Well, it all started over a decade ago, when she joined the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce as an eager intern. From there, she worked her way up the ranks, honing her skills in membership retention, engagement, events, and communications until she reached the coveted position of Vice President.
With a degree in Marketing and Management from the prestigious University of South Florida under her belt, Brittany has become a well-respected leader in her community. In addition to her work with the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, she also serves on the boards of several other organizations, including the Early Learning Coalition, Take Stock in Children Sarasota County, and the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation. And let’s not forget her past board memberships with the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals, the Florida Public Relations Association, and American Advertising Federation.
But despite her impressive resume and busy schedule, Brittany’s most cherished role is that of mother to her three children – Payton, Harper, and David. On the weekends, you can find her soaking up quality time with her loved ones and enjoying all that life has to offer. Brittany truly embodies what it means to be a successful and well-rounded professional, and we can’t wait to see what she’ll accomplish next!
